Predestination

Predestination is often one of the hardest doctrines for people to consider. That means we need to be careful and thoughtful as we engage it. It also means we won’t address everything about it. Berkhof defines it as, “The Counsel of God concerning fallen men, including the sovereign election of some and the righteous reprobation of the rest.” It narrows God’s decree from all things that happen to how God deals with salvation of people.
